The interdisciplinary Theatre Education program includes courses in theatre, education, and communication arts. Students who complete this program are certified to teach Communication Arts, including English, theatre, and non-print media, in public and private middle schools and high schools.
A Theatre Education degree from ÌÇÐÄapp, which is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, will certify you to teach theatre in public and private middle schools and high schools.
WIth a 1,100-seat main stage theatre and concert hall, Marywood offers over 20 ensembles and 3 major productions every year, providing plenty of opportunities to get involved and showcase your creative talents.
