KOOYENGA ANNOUNCES CANDIDACY FOR 14TH
ASSEMBLY DISTRICT
Brookfield - Dale Kooyenga announced today that he
is seeking the Republican nomination for the 14th District in the
Wisconsin State Assembly.
“I will continue the strong tradition of leadership in the 14th
Assembly District,” Kooyenga said. The seat is currently held by
Leah Vukmir who is vacating the seat to run for the Wisconsin Senate
and was also held by Scott Walker, Milwaukee County Executive and
candidate for governor. Kooyenga said, “We have a duty to create
an environment in our state that is suitable for fostering economic
growth and creating jobs.”
Kooyenga continued, “As the father of two young children, I want to
ensure that Wisconsin is as good to them as it has been to me. My
experience as a businessman and soldier will allow me to make a
difference in Madison from the first day. Ensuring a top notch
education for our children, a growing economy for our workers, and
lower taxes for our businesses are essential to bring Wisconsin
forward.”
Dale will bring extensive business and leadership experience with him
to Madison. He presently works as a certified public accountant
